Finding a moisturizer that actually does what it promises can feel like a never-ending journey, but Dr. Althea’s 345 Relief Cream has really changed the game for me. I’ve been using it every single day, and honestly, it’s one of those products that makes me excited to do my routine because I can see and feel the difference it makes.

The formula is built around something Dr. Althea calls the “3-4-5 system,” which basically means it has 3 soothing ingredients, 4 hydrating ones, and 5 extracts to strengthen your skin. To break that down a little: there’s Centella Asiatica extract for calming irritation and helping with healing, plus panthenol and allantoin, which work to protect and moisturize your skin barrier. It also includes natural extracts like green tea and chamomile, which are great for reducing redness and giving your skin some extra antioxidant protection. I really appreciate that the ingredients are gentle because my skin can get easily irritated, especially when I’m dealing with breakouts.

I keep my skincare routine super short—just an oil cleanser, some hyaluronic acid from The Ordinary, and then this cream as my last step. Even though it’s the final step, it doesn’t feel heavy at all. The texture is really light, almost like a gel-cream, so it goes on smooth and absorbs quickly. There’s no sticky film or greasy layer afterward, just soft, refreshed skin. I think that’s what makes it such a versatile moisturizer—you could use it in the morning under makeup or at night before bed and it works perfectly either way.

What made me fall in love with this cream, though, is how well it helps my skin recover. I get acne scars pretty often, and before, they would take forever to fade. But with this cream, I’ve noticed that my scars heal and lighten much faster. It doesn’t just sit on top of your skin; it feels like it actually helps calm down irritation so future breakouts don’t leave marks that linger forever. Over time, I’ve seen my skin tone look more even, and I feel like my face just looks healthier overall.

Another thing I love is how balanced it feels. Some moisturizers are too oily and make me shiny in a bad way, while others are too light and leave my skin feeling tight. This one hits the sweet spot: it hydrates enough to make my face feel plump and smooth, but it never makes me greasy. Instead, it gives me that fresh, natural glow that looks like healthy skin.

After using Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream daily, my skin feels calm, soft, and noticeably brighter. It’s not a dramatic overnight miracle cream, but with consistent use, the results are really impressive. For me, it’s one of those “holy grail” products that I know I’ll keep buying. If you want something lightweight that actually soothes and heals your skin while keeping it hydrated, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try.
